After researching the content regarding the management styles of Instructor Knight and Coach Krzyzewski (Coach K), it becomes noticeable that each trainer displays a really different method of pursuing and obtaining competitive objectives. Generally, Coach Knight displays a strict and rigid leadership style, although Coach K's style appears more personal, sincere, with times, caring. A brief evaluation of both Fiedler's a contingency theory and Blanchard's Situational Leadership 2 (SLII) model will better illustrate the differences that exist between the coaches and their leadership strategies.
